Larry Strutton

Structural Engineer

Larry Strutton joined Clay Development in 2003 as a Structural Engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in Agricultural Engineering with a focus in Wood Structures before joining Haynes Whaley Associates, then Alliance Structural Engineering as a Structural Engineer. At Haynes Whaley, Larry analyzed, designed, and drew tilt wall warehouses to withstand pressures and loads applied to it. While with Alliance, he served as a liaison between general contractors and structural engineers.

At Clay Development, Larry creates technical drawings and plans, designs buildings to withstand loads being applied to them, and coordinates building parameters with metal building manufacturers and steel fabricators. In his free time, Larry enjoys hanging out with his family and golfing. He is a husband and father to two daughters.
